10 Tips to Guarantee That You Never Quit on Your Goals This Year
Wait! Before you start reading… Drop and give me 20 push-ups. Do you want to be GOOD, or do you want to be GREAT?
No, I’m joking… But really.
Can you please make me a promise.
Promise me that you will read all 10 tips. If you are not going to commit to reading all 10, don’t even start reading. It’s going to take every single one of these to not only stay consistent, but also ensure that you actually accomplish what you want.
Rule #1: Keep it Real Don’t set yourself up for disappointment by expecting the impossible. Pick achievable goals, like those Victoria’s Secret dreams (you too fellas) with a ton of hard work behind them.
Rule #2: One Step at a Time Focus on one goal. Trying to do everything at once leads to frustration and accomplishing nothing.
Rule #3: Plan Like a Pro Having clear, precise goals is like having a roadmap for a journey. Plan your steps, know your destination, and track your progress.
Rule #4: Setbacks are Temporary Don’t let a hiccup throw you off. Setbacks are part of the journey. Tomorrow is another chance to get back on track.
Rule #5: Patience is Key Good things take time. Life’s a journey, not a sprint. Be patient and enjoy the ride.
Rule #6: Knowledge is Power Before going all in, consult with your trainer on a strategic plan on how to achieve your goals. Knowledge is your blueprint for success.
Rule #7: Stay Disciplined In an age of instant gratification, discipline sets you apart. It takes strength to make lasting changes, but the satisfaction is worth it.
Rule #8: Celebrate Wins Break big goals into smaller milestones and celebrate them. Rewards keep you motivated.
Rule #9: Surround Yourself with Positivity Negative vibes drag you down. Build a positive support network that cheers you on and wants to see you succeed.
Rule #10: Seek Professional Advice Invest in professional advice (me of course) for health-related goals. It’s an investment, not an expense, and can make a huge difference in your success.
***Bonus Tip: If you have yet to attend one of my group classes, whether it be our Box & Burn or our Strength and Conditioning, I recommend you stop by one day. Trust me, if you manage to drop in for a class, you will be back for more.
